Cookie policy
What the website and the app keep in your browser, why, for how long, and how to change your choice.
Last changed October 28, 2026
In short
Only what TruePlinth needs to work is kept without asking. Measuring how it's used waits until you accept it in the banner; we don't use advertising cookies. Change your choice at any time with Cookie settings at the bottom of every page. A browser that sends Global Privacy Control is never asked about advertising: the answer is no.
What's kept, by category
| Category | What and why | For how long | Asked first? |
|---|---|---|---|
| Needed | Your sign-in (trueplinth-auth), language, preferences, designs kept on this device and recent ones for offline use, and your cookie choice (trueplinth-consent) | Until you sign out or clear them; the choice 6 months | No: the app doesn't work without them |
| Statistics | Cloudflare counts visits to the website without cookies and without telling one visitor from another | Nothing kept in your browser | No, but you can turn it off |
| Measuring | PostHog, in the European Union, measures how the website and app are used: pages, clicks and the features used, to see what to improve (cookies starting ph_) | 1 year | Yes |
| Advertising | Nothing today. If we ever measure advertising, it will be listed here first and asked for separately | — | Yes |
Your choice
- The banner offers Accept all, Reject all and Settings, side by side; nothing but what's needed is on until you choose.
- Your choice is kept for 6 months, then asked again; we also ask again when we add something new.
- Each choice is recorded with its date and the banner's version, without your IP address, so we can show what you chose.
- Clearing your browser's data removes everything above and signs you out.
